Gloria Salo
I believe that true change happens in safety and connection. At the heart of my work is helping people rediscover a gentle connection with themselves – and the freedom to live more authentically and honestly.
Background & Studies
I have practised yoga, meditation and mindfulness for 25 years, and guided others on the same path. I have studied several yoga and tantra traditions. Closest to my heart are non-dual classical Shaiva tantra and Living Compassion – approaches that emphasise alive, embodied practice.
My work brings together Eastern wisdom traditions and a Western psychological approach. I work as an integrative therapist. My background combines social psychology (MA, University of Helsinki), third wave cognitive therapy and Nonviolent Communication. In my work, body awareness, trauma sensitivity and cultivating compassion are central.
I also produce the Helsinki Yoga Festival and the Entheos – Divine Inspiration festival.
Personal
Outside of work, my life is enriched by ceremony, dance, music, gym training – and my two small chihuahua family members Lumi and Kaneli.
